the PREP
Wearing the right clothing and having the perfect props is extremely important and can make or break your images.
Even though an outfit may look great in person it does not mean it will necessarily photograph well. Jess knows fashion and what works with the locations that we chose together.
After a pre-consultation with you (or your mom), Jess will dig through the suitcases you bring to the session to put together the perfect outfits for you.
One of the main goals of our session is to highlight your interests. We can absolutely go on-location to a ball field, school, campground or other activity specific location. Just ask Jess beforehand as locations is a main factor in planning of our shoot day.
The retouching Jess does on guy senior portraits is a completely different process than with girls. While Jess does ask to put on a bit of "anchorman prep" to touch up any skin concerns in person before we shoot, our end goal is for you to feel comfortable! All blemishes, under eye darkness and other concerns will be retouched in your final images.

Which Session Do I Pick?
The EFFORTLESS is by far my most popular session for senior guys. It is a 3 outfit session:
- one casual outfit
- one dressy outfit
- one hobby/interests outfit
Please note that when booking, "it will say includes hair/makeup". Because most guys do not receive hair/makeup, they do require additional retouching. Also, a styling consultation is required before your session and, if needed, Jess can accompany you to shop for your session outfits. Therefore, the pricing is the same for guys and girls due to time involved.
